Oncology:

Overview: CMRI’s Oncology department provides world class comprehensive cancer care with a group of dedicated professionals. A group consisting of diagnostic consultants, medical oncologists and surgical oncologists provide advice for the best course of treatment for the patients.

Treatment techniques:

• Numerous patients receive chemotherapy of the best standards at CMRI every year.

• Both conventional and aggressive (high dose) chemotherapy are routinely done here.

• The disease process and the plan of action consequences and the cost involved are communicated to the patient and their relatives on a regular basis.

• Patients return home – satisfied with the care provided to them.

Paediatric Oncology: This is a department under care of paediatric oncologists. There is a team of specially trained doctors who can provide the necessary care to these ailing buds.

Haemato-Oncology: This is a separate department under care of haemato-oncologists.

The departments routinely perform chemotherapy with a variety of drug combinations which are all procured from our in-house pharmacy.

Ancillary Services like pathology, microbiology, CT Scan, Tumor makers detection, immunohistochemistry, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, mammography, whole body bone scan and sonography all aid in guiding the oncologists towards a definite diagnosis.

Surgical Oncology: Complicated and delicate tumors are tactfully removed by CMRI’s highly skilled surgical oncologists. They are duly supported by well trained staff of the OT, recovery and ITU staff.
