Diabetes & Endocrinology:

Overview: diabetic & endocrinology clinic was set up to provide special care to patients affected with this progressively increasing potentially fatal ailment in India.

CMRI has a specialized Diabetology and Endocrinology department which is staffed by highly competent and trained doctors, nurses, dieticians and counselors. The diabetology department works closely with departments of:

• Nephrology – for diabetic nephropathy patients

• Ophthalmology – for diabetic retinopathy patients

• Plastic surgery – for diabetic foot ulcer patients

These departments are located within the hospital and headed by their own specialized staff. The various diabetic and other endocrine disorders treated in CMRI are:
